Rock climbing can be fun and exciting for some, but for most people, it’s can be quite scary. At Camp 5, you can experience rock climbing in a safe environment and it’s fully air-conditioned! Camp 5 is located at the top floor in One Utama(same floor as Neway Karaōke). For first timers, you can try out their Taster Session, where you can experience the rock climbing through their 1 hour session and see if this is what you like. However, if you have done this before or decided to include rock climbing into your healthy lifestyle, you can sign up for their Basic Wall Course. Really into rock climbing? Sign up and become their members then! You’ll enjoy cheaper rates and exclusive privileges if you are their unlimited members. To make things even more fun for you, Camp 5 will change their routes every 3 – 6 months so you can have new challenges. You can checkout their Routelist from their website or just drop by Camp 5 and surprise yourself. Camp 5 is not only for adults but is suitable for kids too. They have«kids route» and the kids will be coached and accompanied by their professional instructors. It’s a fun and safe way to spend the weekends doing some sports as a family, rather than the usual shopping in the malls. At Camp 5, they offer birthday or corporate events too. Since they have a café for the customers to chill, you can organize the party at Camp 5 where you and your guests can enjoy the food after some exciting rock climbing sessions. The place is mostly crowded during weekends, so it’s advisable to do advance booking and pay the deposit ahead. Do drop by Camp 5 one of these days and experience the adrenaline rush of rock climbing. It’s really addictive, trust me!

I love extreme sport. Well I know that this is not very extreme, but it’s there. Because I love rock climbing, I decided to go here with some friends to have a great time. It was amazing. They have different levels, starting with kids to advance track for adults. The place is divided into different sections: kids, adults beginner and advance. For the advance one, you can climb without the rope, and they have a special floor in case you fell not to harm yourself. They offer you the entire equipment you need. You just need to have some sport clothes and good sport shoes. We spend around 2h here, trying different levels and having fun. I definitely recommend this place to everyone who likes rock climbing.

Love love loved this place. My friends and I were invited here during one of their promo events, which means we didn’t have to pay to get in. The place is super fun and very challenging. Anyone of any age can enjoy themselves. I haven’t rock climbed in a while so some options were a bit to much for me and didn’t manage to help me fully conquer my fear of highs but it definitely gave me a great workout. Which I felt the next day btw. There is a room for those who are keen on trying climbing without ropes, there is a place for children, and they offer multiple levels from beginners like me to super pro’s who looked like they were flying around. Really fun place combined with workout and strength skills. I had a great time and we are most likely going back sometime soon.

I’m not a sporty kind or into a sport person but I did had a rock climbing experienced once at camp5 recommended by my friend. As a first timer, I feel this place is pretty cool. It’s air-conditioned place with different kind of wall to meet different level/interest of climbers. Everyone is busy climbing so professionally up and down there. You can hire a personal trainer if you want to learn the actual skill and the knowledge of rock climb. I was just want to have some fun there, so my friend as my companion was good enough for me. They even have a kids corner for them to learn to climb. So, it can be a pretty healthy family’s activity. This place is usually crowded during weekends than usual and it’s hard to get parking because it’s located inside the shopping mall. So you might need to come earlier to get a nice parking that near to the lift, directed you straight away to camp5.

Camp Five is a really good big place to practice your rock climbing skills or if you’re a first timer, to kick off your relationship with rocks! It’s indoors and air-conditioned, so you won’t feel hot and tired. Also, there’s a café inside Camp Five to refresh yourself with cooling drinks, snacks or main meals. You can hire private instructors to teach you the correct techniques of rock climbing, or you can do it on your own, but one person in your group must be able to belay you or you have to use the automatic ones. There’s a climbing wall for little kids too! It is the shape of an elephant and you cannot wear your harness or shoes when climbing the elephant. It’s a bit expensive to purchase the entry ticket, but the staff are really nice and the facilities are great!
