This place is opposite Ampang Point, it’s a stall located in a cluster of food stalls, next to the Legend Guitar music school. I usually go for the Lashmiri naan where it’s peppered with cherries so you get a sweet taste to your naan dipped in curry and dhal. Get the tandoori chicken to go with it and it’s the perfect combo! You’ll need to park your car by the side of the road though.

I saw a friend posting a pic of him indulging on a plate of Nandos Peri-peri chicken and thought to myself«hmm i could do with some Nandos». Ive not had it in while, and i just felt like giving myself a treat! I called in to place my order and told them i’ll pick it up in about 15minutes(because their delivery service is super slow and they always mess up the orders) I had persuaded my brother on some good Peri Peri Chicken too. The aroma of the chicken and their Peri Peri fries made our hungry tummies growl and could not wait to savor our meals. After the first bite into my chicken i felt like it tasted a little weird, i’m not sure how to describe it but it was just off and it smelled kinda funny too. No it was not the spices or the Peri Peri sauce, i know my Nandos !! I didnt want to say anything to my brother, it seemed like he was enjoying his meal. but not long after he looked and me and said«do you think the chicken tastes funny?!» And so it did! What a let down! Sigh. I called Nandos and demanded to speak to the manager, Azmi was very nice he apologized and offered to compensate me with free meals of the exact order. I was very pleased, although i dont think it would be anytime soon. Im a little put off with Nandos now. but will definitely take his offer. Now this is what i call great customer service. Well done Nandos. Just make sure to check on those yummy chickens okay?
