SBUX is the same everywhere else — they all serve their trademark caffeinated drinks, they have OK pastry selections, and more times than any, the lines can get long. This branch is always busy, probably because it’s located on the bottom floor of a big and busy department store. But lines move quite fast here, thanks to the staff’s level of service to its customers. They are just so polite and very accommodating up here, an awesome trait that I always experience every where else I go within Japan. They make sure that each table is always kept clean at all times, sometimes going around to bus tables for customers when they have to, keeping the place good and clean at all times. It sure makes Howard Schultz and SBUX stockholders just smile in joy. The best part? They don’t smile at you because they’re expecting a tip from you after a transaction. They smile at you because they like doing their job for your own convenience. Awesome staff all the way around. I like it!
