As a passionate phở fan, I’d like to think that I have had some really good phở in the past. However, ever since I came to Japan, I haven’t been keeping up with my vietnamese cuisine excursion. This is the first Vietnamese restaurant that I’ve been to in Japan, and I’m pretty sure that I’ll be back for frequent visits. Vietnamingu is located in Nichome, and it’s pretty easy to find if you know your way around there! The beef phở was pretty good though my only«beef» is that there are no hoisen nor sriracha sauce(which is a big disappointment to me cause I love that hoisen+sriracha combo a lot,) also the bean sprout doesn’t come separately as it is already put in the phở for you, and there aren’t any fresh basil leaves. It was good phở though! Grab a friend or two when you come and be sure to order the summer rolls! They are so mafaking deloycious!

This place opened in March or April of this year, and I have to say, I’m no longer super bummed about a lack of phở in Tokyo! However, unlike a lot of places that serve phở, this place has a better chicken phở than beef. Get the chicken the first time if you feel like eating something comforting and nice. Their shrimp toast is a little too heavy and oily for me, but the phở is totally bomb. Werd.
