It’s my last week in Japan and I decided to cut my hair. I went onto the website and chose a stylist based on portfolio– went with a girl named Atsuko. She was really nice and knew what I wanted based on pics I showed her. She layered really well and I loved that, though she cut my bangs a little shorter than I’d prefer. But it will grow to a normal length in a few days. Overall, I thought it was a fun experience and would do it again. The assistants who wash your hair give you a relaxing head massage while washing; it’s pleasant. One bit of warning– if you don’t speak Japanese well, bring pictures!
