You may be able to eat the same or even better beef in central Tokyo but the reason so many people trek out to this restaurant is because of the ridiculously low prices! I never pay more than 5,000yen for a full meal with several drinks. You would end up paying three times this for tiny servings of A5 beef in central Tokyo. I am usually pretty happy with the quality of the beef. If you are skeptical, I recommend ordering the cuts without the tare sauce and eating it with just salt. That way you really taste the meat. Definitely worth the trip every time!
