Cheerfully lit pancake joint(good selection of sweet and savoury) in the newer part of Nakano(bizarrely named Central Park). Weekdays are crowded with university students while weekends are overtaken by a young office crowd out to enjoy their weekend. The most pleasant surprise was the coffee — sufficiently strong and flavoursome enough to satisfy that mid-afternoon caffeine yearn(none of that watered down drip one usually gets in Tokyo cafes). Bring you girl friends here — it’s the perfect place for a great tete-tete(boosted by a sugar rush).

Came here during our visit to Japan and thought the food was great. Coming from the perspective of american breakfast, these pancakes were really a refreshing take. Smaller portions, much lighter batter and really different flavor combinations. Ordered the Sour Strawberry option and really enjoyed it. The top pancake had an awesome crunchiness to it that was very unique. Overall it was a little bit pricey compared to some other dining options, but it was still a wonderful place to try!
