Very pricy. You do get what you pay for and I think it’s worth the high price tag for the ingredients they use. The one downside is, and it may sound odd, the service was a bit much. The server cooked our sukiyaki piece after piece. Followed the first meat course with some vegetables. Then proceeded to cook some meat. All of this on another table while there was a hot plate in our table. I wasn’t enjoying the slow pace probably my idea of sukiyaki is to cook it and eat it at the table. Their special goma sauce was too strong and over powering. It was salty, spicy, and really sweet. $ 125 for meat, I’d really like to enjoy the meat with a lighter more traditional goma sauce. The sukiyaki was a bit too sweet as well. It’s hard to give this place lower than a three star because the service from start to finish is incredible so I’ll stick with the three star.
