Giving Veganic to go four stars for the cute, quiet atmosphere. It’s also difficult finding vegan restaurants in Japan. Decided to walk here with a friend for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We were the only two in the restaurant. We ordered our food separately. I had the teriyaki burger with a side of fried soy meat and fries. The burger was interesting in flavor and Just an okay burger-nothing I’d go crazy for. Fried soy meat was average, nothing outstanding either. Took 20 minutes for our food to come which is reasonable. After we finished our food, I was still waiting for my side of fries. 30 minutes went by and my friend went up to ask if the fries were still coming. They seemed to put my French fries on my friends plate, which I found odd since we both ordered separately. One plus is the free drink if you check in. I would only recommend this place if you are strict vegan and have no other options around you. Not worth the money for four pieces of French fries and poorly pan fried soy meat. Save yourself the time and money and head to Tokyo station and get some vegan ramen at T’s.

This place has wifi! :) I appreciated the free drink with Unilocal check in. The place is very clean and I love the look of the place. Each chair even has a little blanket for you. I LOVE that coziness feeling. :) It’s a very quiet, small, and cozy spot. The food is definitely very clean, organic, and healthy. Eating around in Japan, things are very flavorful and heavy so if you’re used to that diet, it would be difficult to appreciate a clean palate. I love that this place is available and definitely a go-to if you’re diet consists of healthy vegan or vegetarian foods. We didn’t buy too many dishes because we were traveling and wanted to try a little of everything, everywhere, so I wasn’t very hungry when trying these dishes.

We enjoyed the curry tofu and the homemade, whole wheat buns on the bean burger. The berry smoothie was thick n fruity, and the apple pie a great finish. The staff was very kind with my broken Japanese. Two things you need to know: * as of 4 Dec 2015, the address on Unilocal is correct, but the MAP pin is wrong( Unilocal, please fix this!). So use the address text to paste into the search box on Google maps in order to find this place. * the title of this place has«To Go» in it, but there are about a dozen chairs for sit-down dining. Their food is 100% plant-based, 100% organic, 100% MSG free, 100% gmo-free, 100% refined sugar free. If you care about those things and you are in Tokyo, this place will be a treat.

Being a vegetarian visiting Japan, I was warned of the difficulties I would have finding anything without meat in it. After having been here for 4 days, I was beginning to give up hope of having any decent meals. But then, I saw a small sign promising organic vegan foods. It seemed too good to be true but, sure enough, I walked down the small side street and there it was. This café is adorable and quaint. I had the teriyaki burger and it was by far the best thing I’ve eaten since being here. The vegetables on it were fresh and crisp, the tofu«burger» was fried to perfection and the bun was soft and clearly made in house. The addition of nori, daikon and teriyaki sauce really set this apart from any veggie burger you’d get in the states. It was fantastic.

I was looking for a lunch place and saw a «Vegan. Organic. Microbiotic. café sign on the sidewalk. It sounded interesting, so I headed down a side street and found this gem. The atmosphere is great, and I love the space and design. I had the teriyaki chicken burger(obviously not actual chicken). It was one of the most delicious burgers I’ve had. Hemp seed bun, grilled radish, cabbage, micro-greens, nori, chicken patty, and delicious sauce. The employees were welcoming. I’m definitely coming back for more!
