An high quality takeout croquette shop in Azabujuban. Every neighborhood in Tokyo has their local Korokke shop. They are usually 100 Yen; at times I’ve seen 50 Yen Korokes as well. Considering these norms, Rakuman’s standard Korokke price of 260 Yen is like a Mercedes-Benz of korokke. You can even upgrade to higher models by going with their crab croquette for 360 Yen. HOWGOODISIT? Here is the thing. I takeout food from here(korokke and fried chicken) about once a week. For that reason, I am way over the excitement of eating Rakuman. It became a routine taste for me. It is only when eat lessor quality korokke when I am reminded how good I have it by having Rakuman near my home. ADVICE: I highly recommend calling in advance and picking up. That way, they will prepare fresh ones. LESSORKNOWNITEM: Their chicken rice is really good. A bit pricey, but good. ADMISSIONOFMYSECRET: I use Worcestershire sauce when eating Korokke from here. So? What is the big deal? This is a big deal at Rakuman. They will make you promise to god that you will eat their korokke with their kombu salt. Using sauce is a cardinal sin. I think they have a secret prison in the back of the store for people who would dare to put sauce on their korokke. I have to lie to them every time I go here. «You do know how to eat these, right?» Store attendant. «Yes, I will enjoy these delicious korokke using kombu salt.» I answer with a smile. I then go home and drench these suckers inside Worcestershire sauce.
