Funiculi funicula is a nice casual Italian restaurant. They serve freshly baked pizza. My favorite is Smoked cheese pizza which is simple but amazing! If you want to take any pizza out, it will come in the form of calzone! The waiters are very friendly and efficient. If you are in Mita, You must go this restaurant.

My partner and I went here for dinner last night. There happened to be a ¥2000 special of all you can eat pizza, which included a drink(alcoholic if you like) and desert(ours happened to be cassis sorbet). Each pizza was made to order, including some ingredient prep. The value of this deal was ridiculous, considering a single pizza usually costs between 1400 and 1900¥. We ordered three pizzas in all, and our favorite was the Quatro Formaggio(four kinds of cheese with honey drizzle). We also had the Diabola(pepperoni and mozzarella) which was too sweet and nothing special. All in all we would give the place 4 stars for the food and 5 stars for the all you can eat value and service. We will definitely come again!

Best pizza in Tokyo! And I am Italian, I know when a pizza is a good pizza! This is a very nice restaurant super close to the Tamachi /Mita Station of the metro, in a nice, lively labyrinth of alleys full of other restaurants. They have plenty of selection of different type of pizza. Each pizza is true Italian style, big like a plate, thin, with super good toppings, and wonderful crust. I got the one with provolone cheese and, wow, I felt like I was back in Italy! Service is great, also. They don’t have an English menu but they have someone that speaks English on staff and he will help you translate any item in the menu. They don’t have just pizza. They have salads, appetizers and main entrees of beef, chicken or pork. Fantastic finding. We will be back! One final note to the owners: play Italian music, not Spanish ;-)
