Still great, but the ¥5,500 has become ¥6800. I guess Prime Minister Abe has overshot his goal of 2% inflation in the haircut industry.
Still, if you want a good haircut and a great shave, it’s tough to beat.

Established in 1818, AWESOME place for the gentleman, full haircut, shampoo, scalp massage, shaving for 4,500 yen. Service is impeccable and I’m a very picky guy, I felt like every strand of my hair was cleaned and every pore was shaved.
If you are in Tokyo, go here for sure, how often so you get an opportunity to get a haircut at a barber shop that’s 200 years old.
