Outstanding meal and service like I haven’t seen in years. The host and staff were attentive in every way. Very considerate and going above the call of duty. The food was fresh and delicious. Also the Mai Tais are among the best I’ve ever had! —and I’ve tried many.

This Trader Vic’s is a bit out of the way, and can be confusing to find the first time, but it’s definitely worth a stop if you’re into tiki. Afterall, there are only so many Trader Vic’s left out there now. While the drinks are definitely pricey, Trader Vic’s offered some of the strongest drinks my girlfriend and I had in Tokyo. Only wish there were some vegan snacks on the menu to go with them, but that’s a problem at every Trader Vic’s.

I had brunch here with my Meet Up group. I found the buffet just okay. The food was good honest grub, nothing more/nothing less, the atmosphere was quaint and casual, and the service was efficient. I’d be back.

If I am in a city with a Trader Vic’s I always visit. I just love Trader Vic’s for everything it is. The Tokyo Trader Vic’s doesn’t have the atmosphere that many of the others have, so I was a bit let down. I am not sure exactly what it was but it was fairly generic. Service was decent and of course the Mai Tai’s were terrific but I left feeling underwhelmed. It’s located downstairs in a fairly nice hotel, which has some good shopping and other bars.

Solid food and a relaxing environment, but the quality doesn’t justify the price. And to make matters worse, they add a 10% ‘service charge’ to every bill which they describe as being ‘like a tip.’ When I mentioned that there isn’t tipping in Japan, they responded by saying ‘some other hotels do it too.’ Many better dining options in the area…
