The soba experience It was my first soba in Japan and I think I like it :). Soba is a type of noodle made from buckwheat flour served either cold or hot(mine was hot). Before eating dip it in a kind of broth, I think fish made. And then you politely slurp it :) I received some additional ingredients to put in the broth, e.g. sea weed, wasabi and chopped Japanese onion. Experiment before you find your taste! :) At the end I received some after-soba-cooking water, which is customary to mix with the broth leftover and drink(at least my Japanese friend told me to do it). Also, only because of her I was able to found this place. If you walk the streets full of wanders it’s really easy to miss. Also she helped me pick the soba I had because the menu is in Japanese only. So, I like soba! It’s easy to eat(even with chopsticks), it’s healthy and will make you live over 100 years.
