I have eaten at lots of restaurants in Udine this week and Vitello d’Oro is definitely the best and the most refined. Prices are appropriate for the quality and service of this establishment. They specialize in seafood and the fish is very fresh. The crudo dishes are among the best I have had. The pasta and segundi are equally good. Best of all is the atmosphere and architecture. They are family run by very nice people and are located in a building over 150 years old. Every touch and detail is beautiful. You will be impressed.
