Octopus starter is nice. But garlic pici is way below the level compared with what I had in Montalcino.

Walked in and had a good lunch time experience. I had the pasta with boar’s meat(«cinghiale»), a local dish recommended by the hostel staff, and it was good. The portion was enough to leave room for dessert. The glass of red wine was enormous and the wine absolutely delicious! A bit strong for lunch, I’d say, so I don’t remember what type it was, but it was so good! What was nice, too, was that apparently I was served the wrong and more expensive kind of pasta(I’d never heard of the one I’d ordered based on the recommendation, so what did I know), though the sauce was correct. The owner eventually adjusted the amount, which I thought was honest of him, especially after I’d been ripped off so often in Tuscany.

My hotel staff recommended this restaurant so I had dinner here. Pecorino cheese melted over pear(and walnut) seems to be popular in this area since I’ve seen it at other restaurants. So I tried. It was good. Not too strong cheese flavor but oozing cheese balanced well with pear and walnut. Pasta was not impressive. Bread was cold … A glass of red wine(pretty good) was only 2.50 Euro. Menu is small and no english(server seems to understand a little so you can get by) so having iphone with google translate app was very useful. Overall, it’s cozy place but I wouldn’t expect too much on the food. Opens at 7 pm.

Bread, Veggies and desserts were delicious. Nice staff too. I didn’t have any main dishes but heard the steak was amazing.
