Definitely the nicest hotel in Siena. This is a beautiful and quaint 17th century building that is very close to the main sights in Siena. There is exceptional service, modest yet elegant décor, and spacious rooms. We had an included«American» breakfast every day during our stay, which had bacon, sausage, eggs, cereals, Tuscan cold cuts, cheese, hard boiled eggs, fruit, fresh squeezed juices, etc. it was very good and they even put out gluten free rice cakes for me. We had dinner there the first night because of the jet lag and they accommodated my allergen free needs with ease. The manager immediately knew which dishes had the ingredients I could not have. I had a great beef fillet with spinach, green beans, and a local wine. The bar is open very late for drinks and cured ham and Parmesan for a late night snack. In terms of the room, it is simple but serves your needs with some Tuscan flair. The bathroom was gigantic and had a huge(HUGE!!) bathtub. Very relaxing after a long flight! The mattress was not the most comfortable, but we were so tired when we got here that we didn’t mind. Ether way, you’re in Italy and you’re going to have a great time. There was good air conditioning, plenty of plugs, and a nice terrace, too. Wifi costs 10 euros per day with up to 10 devices. There is free wifi available in the Piazza del Campo at L’osteria del Bigelli, but it is password protected, so you must dine there. The food was great there, so it was worth it!
