* We arrived at the B&B and no one was there to let us in. Over 30 minutes later, after sitting out in the hot sun, a guy who worked there drove up and checked us in with no explanation and no apologies. Great first impression. * Rooms are really small with no safe or refrigerator and no wifi or computer access as advertised in emails * Located a good 20 minute + walk to the city center * Breakfast is just ok — with the typical croissants, yogurt and toast. They have a cappuccino maker that makes average coffee drinks. * Staff was ok but not very welcoming * Cute décor inside with splashes of orange but it kind of reminded me of a hostel the way everything was set up * Would definitely pick somewhere else to go if we came back to Sienna

This is a pretty nice hotel at a very reasonable nightly rate. The rooms were nice, clean, and comfortable but there were a few minor things that I wasn’t crazy about. There was a slight state of disrepair with some of the amenities in the room(for example, the drain stopper of the sink was missing). The wifi did not work in my hallway. The breakfast was not good at all, so much so that I went out for breakfast the second day. And the location, while not far, was inconvenient with respect to the main areas of the city. If you’re willing to stay a little bit off the beaten path and if you’re on a budget then this place is very acceptable but I look at other hotels first the next time I visit Siena.
