This place was terrible! the food was not the best and the worst thing was the service. one of the ladies was extremely rude and tried to charge us for stuff we never ordered and trying to overcharge. she forgot about some of our orders and did not listen to what we wanted to order. there was one Filipino girl that was so nice. Avoid this restaurant

This was the worst restaurant I have eaten at during my entire two weeks abroad. We were a group of 8 and we all got something different to eat and there wasn’t a single person who really enjoyed their food. The pizza was the worst pizza I have ever eaten, which I didn’t think was possible. The French fries are frozen and then reheated. To top it off the service was even worse than the food. They were rude and even had to come back to be reminded what we had to order. One of the people in the group had to ask 3 times for a salad that she never ended up receiving. I ordered a £9 pizza and the waitress tried to tell me at the end that the pizza was actually £10. I had her grab the menu so that I can physically show her my price. The only nice thing about this restaurant is the young Filipino waitress. She was sweet and even apologized for the service we were getting.

We feel kinda ‘cheated’. The place looks fine from the outside and a very sympathetic, perfectly English speaking girl invites you in. She is not pushy and you actually feel trusting in what she must have to offer. Don’t do it! She is like a Siren. You know, like these mythological sea mermaid thingies that sing and kill the people on the boats. We had lunch here. We took the sandwich, brunette and verdura(vegetable) soup. It was tasteless, blend, dull, just a major waste of a lunch moment in Rome, not to mention money. I can’t cook, but I honestly can do this WAY better. I wish I was exaggerating. There was another woman there, she seemed like an owner, who was very very rude and inappropriate in how she handled her customers. She grabbed the menu vigorously(not accidentally) from our hand, stood with her back against our table so our view was her back or the wall, she asked every second(not in a friendly way) if we were ready to order when we just had the menu barely in our hands etc. She just didn’t come across as welcoming, to say the least. There was a clear sign outside saying that tips were EUR0 here. But when we paid the bill she kept waiting till we gave here a tip also. Now we usually give tips regardless, but the way this went was just… Hmz. I give two stars instead of one, because the food is completely tasteless but not rotten and there is free WiFi, toilets are ok and the girl that lured us in was friendly.

We were in a hurry to eat. And we ran into this place. We were there with a group of about 6 people. We all got sandwiches, and we were all disappointed. The food was a bit dull and bland. The prices for the sandwiches were decent.

Wonderful family owned restaurant right outside the walls of Vatican City. The food is fresh and delicious, and the people are very friendly and accommodating. We’ll visit this family again on our next trip to Rome.
