Comida excelente. Se puede elegir el grado de picante, lo cual está muy bien cuando hay niños

After 9 days of pasta and pizza what a welcome change. Very tasty and authentic Thai and Malasian dishes. Immediately upon arrival we were kindly greeted by the owner and staff who spoke fluent English. We were treated first to fresh raw carrots and sliced cucumber with peanut sauces while we decided on our order. Our kids decided on a version of Drunken Noodles, duck with noodles, and chicken satay which they all enjoyed. I ordered green curry w beef and asked for it extra spicy. While it wasn’t as spicy as I get back home it was very tasty. Wife ordered the giant prawns and she also enjoyed them. Off the beaten path well outside the walls it cost us a € 15 taxi from Piazza Navone. Make sure you have taxi lined up for the way back as they are are hard to find Also accessible by bus if you are bus savvy all in All Thai Inn is a very pleasant change if youre peckish for an alternate to tourist fare.

You would think that coming back from a few months of living in Rome you’d only be craving Italian food, but Thai Inn stole a little piece of my heart while I was out there. It’s a short tram trip a way from the Trastevere bus station, and just a quick walk down the street from the tram stop. And it’s Rome, so even a little walking feels like an adventure. First off, the food is delicious. They bring you this bomb peanut sauce, cucumbers/carrots, and french fries to start — which is great because you get to munch while you’re still looking at menus.(I have yet to understand why there were french fries with the peanut sauce, but for some reason it worked). We’d order appetizers to share around the circle table — dumplings, soups, etc etc and then individual dishes that by the end of the night became shared dishes. My favorite was the yellow curry, which I have yet to find an equal match for since being back home. It’s a solid place not just for Rome, but for food in general. And then there was Lloyd. His name wasn’t actually Lloyd, but our group decided that was a good fit for him. Regardless of his name, you’ll know him by this big smile he’ll have when he greets you right when you walk in the door. He’ll probably have a cool shirt on too. He’s a cheerful guy, a great server, and became one of our favorite people to visit in Rome. Perhaps it’s his always cheerful attitude. Perhaps it’s his jokes. Perhaps it’s because he loved to give us wine(because it’s Italy, so we drink wine with everything. Even Asian food). And if we brought in more of our friends, he’d give us even more wine. And he wouldn’t let us leave until we finished all the wine. And if we finished the wine, he’d bring us more wine. It may not be the best place to go if you’re traveling to Italy for a weekend, but if you’re there for longer than a month and are craving something other than pasta/pizza/kebabs — this place will leave you satisfied(and maybe just a little tipsy).

This is great Thai food, not just for Rome, but anywhere. They take spice seriously. Also the tables have lazy susans.
