Amazing service, air conditioning, not too busy, pristine amenities and the waitress (Alexandra) was so helpful spoke fluent English.
Hidden gem– I would give it five stars EASILY

We ordered a Capricosa and a pasta Carabonara for lunch — it was super! Good service, good food and good outdoor seating. Try this place if you are nearby!

Loved this place in Trastevere. A local recommended it to us & can’t thank her enough. Ate here twice during our stay. Wish we can go back. We had a salad with chicken & a seafood pasta one night, and Caprese and a pizza another night. Yum!

My husband and I stumbled across this restaurant on our first afternoon in Rome. We had gotten in earlier than planned so didn’t have a restaurant already picked out for lunch. We were starving and happened upon this little gem. While the place looked just like every other restaurant on the street and there were several tourists sitting outside, the food on their plates looked good and the place was pretty full (the later being two good signs).
We ordered some house wine, the bruschetta sampler and a pizza. Holy cow was I surprised at how amazing the pizza was. The cheese was so flavorful and the toppings were perfectly cooked. Our whole meal was maybe 30 euro?
I wouldn’t say that you should go out of your way to eat at this place, but if you are looking for a yummy lunch spot in Trastevere, check it out!

Hice una reserva para Noche Vieja y al aforo estaba tan lleno que mi mesa estaba pegado a ambos lados a otros comensales, esperé 40′ para otra mesa y 20′ para ser servido. Puede que esa noche fuese distinta, pero no había nada de especial a un día normal. Pedí ensalada, muy buena todo fresco; pizza capriciosa, muy buena tmb y sabrosa; carne de ternera con champiñones, no me gustó, estaba en su punto, pero ademas de no tener sabor la textura era desagradable, masticar partes duras es algo desagradable. Tendría que ir de nuevo para poder dar una buena valoración alimenticia, ésta es tan baja por el resto de circunstancias.

Nos hospedamos en Roma durante fin de año y decidimos ir a cenar a este sitio. Llamé y reservé para estar allí y empezar a las 21:00h. Cuando llegamos el local estaba lleno y nos ofrecieron una mesa que estaba tan pegada a las demás que al abrir la carta de menú tapabas el plato de los de al lado, terrible, no exagero.
Obviamente nos negamos a cenar así y estuvimos esperando una hora hasta que nos ofrecieran una mesa mejor situada.
Cuando nos la dieron, nos sentamos, estuvimos esperando una media hora a que nos tomaran nota y cuando lo hicimos otros 45′ hasta que llegaron los entrantes. Terrible.
En cuanto a la calidad de la comida, nada especial, muchos otros lugares de la ciudad ofrecen cocina mejor. Pizza decente. Pedimos un plato de ternera ‘al Ferro’ con setas silvestres y salsa de trufa negra que nos decepciono mucho también.
En cuanto al precio, salimos por 47 € sin pan, vino y postre.

An exception in rome, no ripoff. Delicious food for fair prices in a nice atmosphere. Great value. In Rom ein gutes Restaurant zu finden, ist eine Sache, jedoch eines zu finden, in dem man nicht abgezogen wird, ist hingegen eine verfluchte Herausforderung. Alles Verbrecher und Banditen! Und ein Blick in die Karte dieses gemütlichen Lokals, mit toller Atmosphäre und hervorragendem (!) Essen bekräftigt diese verallgemeinernde Titulierung. Die berühmte Ausnahme der Regel hat man hier gefunden, und sie war der Suche wert. Eine wahre Freude!

first time for us in trastevere! checked the nearer area, looking for good restaurants with outdoor tables. found a nice small restaurant near a marketplace, which origin name seemd to be ‘Roma pizza’. first impression: very friendly service personal, we have been seated immediately, cared about us from first second on.
good food, good value for the price. beer good, house wine good.
from us: absolute recommendation!
