Delicious, cheap locally-made pizza. Walk in, grab a few slices, eat them there(limited seating as if when I was there in 2009), walk out. You can also order slices as takeout. Be sure to try the salami e gorgonzola — by far my favorite.

Great local pizza a taglio, Italian cut pizza meant for takeaway, very few tourists around. There were numerous kinds ranging from a basic margherita to another topped with in season mushrooms. The ladies at the counter were happy to provide service and seemed almost amused by the touristy attention they were getting. The price was really reasonable, being slightly under-priced for a pizza a taglio, and definitely a great deal for the quality of the product. The pizzas with veggies were fresh, the meats(had a square with mushrooms and sausage) was perfectly cooked and moist. I highly recommend trying this place, for the price you can’t go wrong anyways.

Stopped in here for a takeaway slice on my way back to my hotel after a day of sightseeing. It is a small store front and there was not a clear queue. That said, once I ordered and walked out with my slices(plain tomato), I promptly walked across the street and sat down to enjoy the most wonderful crust and tomato combination I have ever had! Crust was chewy and crispy while the sauce was the perfect amount of zesty and sweet. I immediately wished I had ordered more! The pizza is sold by weight so you can mix and match in any way you’d like. I didn’t do this mostly because I wasn’t feeling communication confident; however, the woman. That helped me spoke English and was very helpful/nice. Stop here for a vote if you are in the area!

First pizza we had in Rome. We were probably not eating In the best state of mind because we had just finished a walking tour and was exhausted. So remember to take a number(like a deli) or you will be ignored and by passed by locals. The crust was definitely super delicious but overall the pizza didn’t blow me away. My favorite was the tuna one. We ordered two diet cokes and there was a bunch of gunk on the top of the can so ended up not drinking it, so make sure to ask for a straw. Cheapest meal we’ve had so far though, 8 euros for two people. Make sure you say«no grandissimo» Or they will just cut you a big piece using your tourist ignorance. Not a bad spot.

We stumbled into this place randomly while getting off the bus. Ended up coming back a couple of times during our trip. Pizza sold by weight so you can get a variety of types. The spicy tomato pizza was delicious! I have been searching for the same flavor profile ever since I came back to the states.

Good takeaway pizza and lots of places to eat it outside on Largo Argentina. My mushroom slice was only average, but the one with bacon(looked more like thick ham) was absolutely out of this world. Would highly recommend that one

OMG!!! When in Rome you must get pizza here. They have the most delicious pizza I’ve ever tried. From bacon and goat cheese to vegetarian. You choose the type & the size of the slice you want, they then cut & weigh your selection. You pay by weight. Soooo you can try one or 10 different kinds. All amazing! I always go there when I’m in Rome. I can taste it now! Bring your running shoes you’ll need them to run it off! So worth it!

This was my first meal in Rome, and I really wasn’t impressed. We grabbed a slice for lunch, technically our breakfast. It was good but the cheese wasn’t cooked enough for me. I took a bite and it wouldn’t come apart. it wasn’t warm enough either. To finish my slice i had to take off the cheese and eat just the bread and sauce. When we walked in there were a couple people ahead of us so we had a small chance to look around. It’s a really small place. They have the counter and a door and that’s about it. The coolest thing to me was when they cut the pizza. They used scissors! I’m not sure why but I thought that was awesome.

Best pizza I had in Rome. Pizza was delicious… I had the pizza with tuna, ketchup and mayonnaise… it sounds weird but it was great. Visited a bar then went back for seconds. Me and my friends got the bacon toppings, which is a giant slice and a pepper toppings. Prices are very reasonable as well. Just a little tip, you are not paying for the slice, you are paying by weight! Good job girls!

I may have found my new favorite pizza place in Rome. Think Pizzarium, but less touristy and half the price. As soon as you enter Pizzeria Florida, grab a ticket near the entrance and wait your number. There are many people in peak times, but the lines go fast and the delicious, unique, mouthwatering pizza is worth it. I will be coming back multiple times and attempt to try all of the fantastic flavors.

While I am not a fan of pizza… I couldn’t stop eating them while in Italy. Maybe its the water, the flour, or the toppings!!! I found myself craving pizza. Pizza is sold by the gram. Indicate the size you want and they will slice it exactly. Pick a handful and make yourself a smörgåsbord. Some favorites include: anchovies, zucchini flower, plain cheese, and spicy pepperoni. There are a few window bar seats and a bench outside. Otherwise, be prepare to stand or take it to go. Friendly service. English spoken. Cash only. Counter service.

Delicious pizza by the slice about three blocks off the beaten tourist path in the centro storico. Walk in to a small counter with all this freakin’ awesome looking pizza that smells even better, act like you belong there with all the local construction workers and office people, grab a number. Pretend you know Italian, but really look at the number being served display. Point at what pizza you want-and believe me when I tell you this the only chore about this experience-after you decide what delicious fresh pizza looks tastiest. Then order. Then the owner figures out you are there from, uh, out town, and stops and really helps you get through it. Oh my God, it was GOOD… 5 minutes south of the Pantheon. I’m going back. OK, so I went back already the same day… So what, I’m still going back. My elementary school aged kids raved about every slice.
