This place has the BEST marinara pizza in Rome. I love this pizza. I have dreams about it. I used to live in Ostiense and luckily this place was right around the corner. I’ve lived in Rome for 3 years, but even my boyfriend who is Roman, agrees with me. We live in Aurelio, and we drive all the way to Ostiense just for this Marinara.
If you are vegan, go here. Get the Marinara. You will be so happy to have so much flavor with no animal products. Honestly it’s delicious. And so cheap. You can fill up for € 4 – 5.
For not vegans, still try the Marinara. And everything else. Especially the Suppli picante.
It doesn’t have a lot of reviews, but thats because it’s normal clientelle are locals.
Don’t be fooled, it’s a simple hole-​in the wall pizza al taglio. Nothing fancy, if you want fancy/​trendy go across the street to Porto Fluviale, another favorite. But even they don’t do Marinara well.
