I saw all the amazing reviews and needed to try this place. For the pizza was good but not the«can’t miss», or «best in Rome» that I was hoping for after reading all the other reviews. The pizzas were colorful, creative and fresh. I was a little thrown off as I like pizzas made to order and am always skeptical of any that are pre-prepared and sitting for an unknown period of time before its consumed. The place was absolutely packed and you will likely have to fight s bit of a crowd to order and pick up your pizza. Having said that, I could see how people would like a place like this if they were wanting a quick personal pizza for lunch… Having been on vacation at the time, I would have rather had a fresh pizza out of he oven at a sit down restaurant.

Ok. I know anthony bordain has been here and all but call me spoiled but it taste like pizza in california. Pay by the weight and great variety though. Get here early though because we got there right when it opened and after ordering there was already a line.

5 stars all the way! I must say, this my favorite food place of ALL time in Rome ! This is a quick little fast place where you stand & eat your pizza after they pull it fresh out of the oven ! The staff was amazingly friendly– and the pizza was … To die for!!! If I ever came back to Rome, and I had to pick only one food place, it would be for this magnificent pizza place ! Tourists should definitely NOTMISS this place!!! You’ll be sorry if you do! They have so much variety with their gourmet toppings and it is quite overwhelming! I found myself staring at all of the possibilities and holding up the line, so I just let everyone ahead of my party. Once I finally selected which personal pizza I wanted, I expected them to throw it on a plate for me(and maybe warm it up)… Little did I know those ones were just for show and they pulled a fresh one right out of the oven just for me how wonderful! I felt like a superstar ! So yes, 5 stars all the way– will come back to this place specifically if I return to Rome

Yum!!! I was on my last day in Rome, and I decided to randomly Unilocal pizza places. This one showed up and it’s super close to my hostel, AND they’re open pretty early, so I decided to go for breakfast. Yes, pizza for breakfast, why not? I wanted to eat as much as I could on my last day to Rome, so better have an early start! When I arrived, they had around 7 – 8 different types of pizza on display, and I asked what the most popular one was; he said the pumpkin, bacon, and mozzarella. I’m not too big a fan of pumpkin and I don’t like bacon, so I opted for the salami and potato. After ordering, he stuck one into the oven and I paid. It was only € 4.50 for a personalized pizza, yay! I waited a few minutes until it was done, and I took it to go. Mine got put in a bag as opposed to a box, but it was okay; I ate it on the way back to the hostel anyway. The crust was deliciously crunchy, and the toppings were light but flavorful. I wish there were more salami pieces because they were really good, and the potato was quite potato-y and soft. It was delicious! I wish I came here with 3 other people, because then we could each try 4 different types! Ah well, next time. Highly recommend!

THISISTHEBESTPIZZA. I was in Rome for a week and we ate pizza every day for lunch, and pasta every day for dinner, because #YOLO. This was the best pizza we had. I scoured all of the Unilocal reviews and blog posts on «Best Pizza in Rome» and«Where Locals Get Their Pizza» and consulted sites like Katie Parla’s Rome(highly recommended). Everyone mentioned Pinsere, and so we walked over after our Borghese Gallery visit. It’s a tiny place and there’s no seats, but don’t let that deter you for a second. The staff are friendly and helpful, speak English, and let me take copious amounts of photos of their pizza. Here’s the way it works: 1) Walk in and gape at the beautiful array of pizzas in front of you, in the glass case. 2) Hopefully you’re there with a big group, so you can get a bunch of different kinds. We ordered 6 pizzas for 6 people and it was plenty — the pizzas are personal-sized. 3) Tell the staff which pizzas you like. They’ll take them and put them in the pizza oven for you then, while you pay. 4) Wait for your pizza to come out of the oven, and when it does, take it on the tray they offer you. 5) Grab a counter space outside, take a bite, and another, and another, and thank me later. Favorites: the potato-prosciutto, the margherita, the pumpkin-prosciutto… Counting down the days until I can go back to Pinsere

The Italian healthy version of street food :) Very busy but worth trying. You choose your flavor of «Pinsa» and they will cook it on the spot. Fresh and yammie. You can also try more than a flavor, sharing«pinsas» with friends. Just perfect!

We had high hopes for this pizza and it did not disappoint! When we walked in, we were completely overwhelmed by a large lunch crowd that had filled the shop. A kind woman working behind the counter called for us to come to the front where she helped us choose our pizzas. We selected two different options and ate right outside on a beautiful day. There was so much pizza left over, we took it home and at the rest as a late-night snack! Excellent!

This place lives up to the amount of stars it is given. It’s decently priced with simple, but yummy flavors for pizza. This was our first place that we ate at for our Rome vacation and it was a good start. Service is good and for the record they close at 6:00 pm, not at 4:00 pm( Unilocal needs to update that).

Omg the reviews below were spot on! Best pizza we had in Italy! We had the marguerita pizza and prosciutto pizza. Both were fantastic. You select the pizza and then they warm it up for you in their oven which makes it perfectly crispy. They then drizzle basil oil on the pizza which I was hesitant at first but was a great addition. Wish we had pizza like this back home. Recommendations: ANY pizza… you can’t go wrong

My wife and I agree that this was the best Pizza place we had this side of the Tiber River(Pizzarium being the best near the Vatican). The prices are reasonable, they speak English well, the flavors are spot on and they work with the speed of excellence! This area is where we noticed more locals and the patrons just kept coming and going so there’s continual churning of new and fresh pizzas. I really enjoyed the margherita pizza with its fresh grape tomatoes and crispy thin crusts. I wanted to get the eggplant pizza they had but everyone else ordered it by the time I made my decision… apparently that was really really popular. Pro tip: go early for BEST selection because they ran out of some ingredients! Also, walk about 3 blocks west to Come il Latte for the BEST gelato! Overall, excellent pizzas!!! It was so good we left to get gelato and decided to go for seconds for our walk back to our hotel.

Thanks Unilocalers! This place is amazing! Nice, crisp and fluffy crust. Fresh spectacular ingredients. I dare to say that this may be the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life! We have no clue what we ordered(again). We just trusted the staff and they delivered! 14 € for 2 pizzas and 2 beers!

Vies for best street pizza with Pizzarium, and bonus points for being in a non-touristed neighborhood. Many great pizza options with unique flavors(zucchini + anchovies or prosciutto + figs) and the classics like tomato basil(recommended!), bianco, etc. But it’s the crust that steals the show. Fluffy, crisp and quarter-inch high. Puts those street vendors to shame and gives the top restaurants a run for their money. Walk, don’t run here.(On second thought, stay away. I want it for myself).

This was my first meal in Roma and I don’t regret it. Thank you Unilocalers! The staff here is friendly and speaks fluent English. More importantly, the food is phenomenal. High quality, beautifully cooked ingredients where personal pizzas, beautifully blistered and lightly touched with cheese, are the name of the game. We had the eggplant pizza, which featured a light smattering of stretchy mozz, mandolined eggplant, pine nuts, and golden raisins on a crust only touched with olive oil. It was light and lovely. The second pizza we tried, however, made my day. The owner enthusiastically looked at me and said«You like spicy?! This is our favorite!» and pointed me to a gooey pie smattered with red onion slices and a spicy salami(anduja, probably spelled incorrectly, from the Calabria region) all drizzled with a light herb olive oil. Heaven. One of the best mashups of flavor I’ve ever had. In under fifteen minutes we had gorged on pizza and were in a lovely mood. Don’t miss it, this place is worth it!

The best pizza I’ve had in my life. My friend and I tried this place at the recommendation of our hostel host, and it did not disappoint! The small shop was filled with locals trying to grab a late lunch, but the line moved quickly. They have fresh unfired pizzas on display, and they fire it for you once you choose it. Since my friend and I couldn’t speak Italian, we couldn’t figure out if we could custom order, but the pre-selected ingredients were perfect anyways. I got the bufala and my friend got the porchetta, and both were amazing and devoured in seconds. We then decided to walk back to try the margherita, which I actually liked the best. Now that I’m back in the States, I dream about Pinsere every time I get pizza, but nothing will ever measure up. DEFINITELY a MUST-TRY in Roma. It’s also SUPER cheap – most pizzas will run you about 3 – 4 euro and really fill you up!

We hopped on a short bus ride with rolling suitcases and all to find this place. It was crazy packed with people and everyone outside had a little gold tray of pizza. A stayed with the luggage as I braved the overflowing crowd. As the crowd slowly parted left and right, the display of amazing personal pizzas I think literally sang to me. Suddenly I was overcome with ordering anxiety. What was I supposed to get again? What if I get the wrong thing? OK. I’ll tell you now. I don’t think there is such a thing as ordering wrong here. In a jumble, I pointed to three random pizzas, paid, and slunched back into the crowd to await my warmed ‘zas. The staff was super nice and knew quite a bit of English, but there is definitely a lot of pointing and confusion at times as to who’s order was up. It all worked out and we ended up with a box full of goodness. A and I used our suitcases as seats further down the street and dove in. We ended up with a prosciutto(or a darker cured ham) & fig, squash blossom & zucchini & anchovies, sun dried tomato & goat cheese & proscuitto. They were all so different and all displayed the perfect balance of creamy cheese, salt, and sweetness. We gobbled it all up. Definitely the best pizza of the trip. Will definitely recommend to anyone travelling to Roma.

We stopped here based on Unilocal reviews and there were so many folks in and outside this tiny little place we almost kept walking but since we weathered the elements from the Termini station we had to try. I got the tomato pesto, It was good but it was kind of bland(it was missing basil or something). THe broccoli slice was better. It was visually very appealing but honestly It looked better than it tasted. After we paid the casher came to find us bc she over charged us by ½ a euro(is that 50 cents? idk anymore, Anyway, they also gave us a taste of a potato pizza, also better than the tomato pesto one. Lesson learned, try it even if its not the prettiest looking one.

Tiny restaurant, no seating, you get slices of pizza to go and eat right outside. Still crowded with eager eaters. That’s when you know it’s legit pizza right? I don’t know what they did with their pizzas but they are DELIZIOSO. The crust, the dough, the toppings, the sauce, all of them are perfect. Hands down the best pizza we had in Rome.

Excellent pizza place. Went here a couple times(actually 3 times but we didn’t know it was closed on the weekends). Actually, what they sell is apparently not technically a pizza. I read on someones web site that its actually something called a pinsa — which is a oblong flatbread. They insist it doesn’t have much in common with pizza. the dough is a mix of 4 different organic and GMO free flours and extra virgin olive oil and its left to rise for 2 – 3 days. Pizzas are freshly made and wide selection. They are cooked in the oven to order so you have to wait a few minutes. The toppings change seasonally and you get all sorts of different combinations. The people there speak English so no problem with ordering. First time I just picked what looked the nicest(which was a potato based pizza — was a bit interesting as it had no tomato so kind of tasted more like a hashbrown — a bit). The 2nd time I went for a spicy salami one. One suggestion is to ask what there favourite is — its bound to be good! The pizzas themselves are a fairly deep base — certainly not what you would call thin crust. Its all pretty cheap with the pizzas all for about € 4. Its a popular place which seems to be mostly tourists when we were there. No doubt helped by being ranked no.2 of all restaurants in Rome on another review web site — which shall not be named! We were lucky that it was pretty close to our hotel! Recommended place to go, great food, good service. The people working there all seem so happy and clearly passionate about the pizzas … or pinsa.
