I never would’ve come across this place on my own. A friend of a friend took us here for a quick breakfast before heading to the airport. There are several of these types of cafes throughout Rome but it is nice to see a different side to the city in the outskirts in the newer sections. Tons of variety — your usually cornetto and sweet pastries. There is also a huge selection of savoury sandwiches — which is perfect if you need to grab lunch on the go. If you’re an out of towner, here’s the drill and most other cafes like this also work this way but since this place is quite big it can get a bit crazy. First have a look at what you want — roughly get an idea of what it’s call as you first need to pay for it at the till then bring the receipt to the counter to pick up the food. Luckily I was with an Italian friend who translated everything for me.
