My husband and I had lunch here during our trip to the colosseum. It’s located in a very convenient location, perfect for lunch in between your visit. I ordered the spaghetti con vongole, it was really good. Some clams came up empty but it was a minor issue. It’s definitely worth a visit guys!

Great pasta. Incredible caprese salad! Slightly disorganized service though — even for Italy!

Authentic Italian food. Portions are just right! Great rigatoni carbonara pasta and lomo de res. Baked potatoes with garlic and olive oil crispy and tasty. Overall a delicious meal in a restaurant that is over 115 years old. Staff is friendly and amicable and its always fun to learn Italian in the process. Highly recommended. BTW — Try the Tiramisu; it’s AMAZING!

We stumbled on this place while looking for dinner. This was the best food we had during our 2-week stay in Italy, from Rome to Florence to Venice and others. The pasta was hearty and delicious, the best we’ve ever had, and the tiramisu was equally phenomenal. We were the only Americans in here, speaking to the authenticity of the restaurant as opposed to a tourist trap, and the servers spoke just enough English to provide a perfect meal. We highly recommend this place!
