Think of Mangia Mo as Rome’s trendier version of Subway. This small eatery offers a wide variety of sandwiches, burgers, and wraps. They also have french fries, onion rings, and other fried delectables. It is a very tiny space with limited indoor seating, but the array of ingredients is presented well and the staff is very inviting and friendly. Mangia Mo has a number of standard menu items to choose from if you don’t feel like creating your own sandwich. I, however, custom-made my sandwich with grilled chicken, lettuce, tomato, parmesan, avocado, mayo, and barbecue sauce. The chicken was quite tasty and the other ingredients were fresh. The avocado could have used a few more days to ripen, but it wasn’t too noticeable. There wasn’t anything too extravagant about the sandwich I created so I was satisfied with the overall taste. A sandwich alone will set you back about 5 euro, which isn’t too bad, but considering you can pay six euro at Subway and get a bag of chips and a drink, I would save trips to Mangia Mo for when you are limited on your sandwich shop options.
