Istanbul Kebab

This is the kind of place I only really visit late at night after a few drinks. Sometimes only a kebab will hit the spot and Istanbul Kebab did its job last night!
As usual, I opted for a kebab with «everything». The filling was tasty with jalapeños giving it an extra kick. There could have been a little more sauce (needy a creamy topping to amalgamate the salad and meat) but it was more than adequate.
The service was friendly and helpful and the experience was an overall positive one. Soft drinks are also available from a fridge on the premises.

The corner of my eye caught this place when we arrived in Trastevere. I’m always on the lookout for some good ethnic fast food when travelling. For me these restaurants are great places for lunch, a late night post party tummy fill or a cheap dinner.
They have a good menu selection of items that are quick and casual. Of course they have pizza but I was more interested in the meat spinning on the skewer.
I ordered a kebab plate twice during my week and it came with a good serving of meat with lots of fresh vegetables, salad and hot peppers, hot sauce and rice. Portion size was good, not too garlicky and not too heavy after feeling! The serve was pleasant an price was good! On both visits talking with the guys working there, they even spoke french during both visits. A good experience.
A very decent place for quick eats, fast and fresh.
