Since arriving in Rome on Tuesday, I have noticed that Illy who are an italian coffee company, founded in Italy(who have suppliers in England) have their own stores like this. They are quite cool stores and combine Nespresso and Starbucks in a way, bringing the best of both world’s to Italy. This store is pretty cool and is close to the spanish steps, it is a nice store and well worth a look in. They sell coffee machines, beans, fresh coffee and even iced coffee here. The staff speak basic english here, but still conversation can be tricky. They do sell normal cold drinks as well as freshly prepared in store coffees(hot and cold), they sell bottled Illy beverages and even fizzy juices. The prices are reasonable with it costing 4.10 euros for a bottle of «Orange-ade», in a glass bottle and a good size and a bottled Tirimishu coffee drink, with the latter costing 2.50 euros, this drink was okay and a good size, but not as nice as it sounds. I don’t think this drink is prepared in store as it just comes a bottle. This store is quite cool but due to the partly confusing layout of the store, especially for new-comers with 2 tills, little to nine seating for your coffee and no flavouring syrups, I feel the maximum I can give this place is 3 stars.
