This hotel has a great location. A short walk north will get you to the Flaminio metro stop, and the Spanish Steps stop isn’t too much further away. But really, you could just walk wherever you wanted to go… we walked from this hotel to everything we saw in Rome, taking the metro back a few times when our feet were especially tired. We stayed at this hotel twice during our trip to Italy, with a different room each visit. The rooms are on the small side, but just about average based on the size of the other hotel rooms we visited throughout our trip. There’s no wifi in the rooms, but you can get a free access code that will work on either the rooftop deck or in the lobby’s sitting area. We found this a little inconvenient for planning purposes, but we managed.(First world problems, right?) The staff was helpful. When we first arrived, we asked at the front desk if they could recommend a restaurant. The guy working did so, giving us clear directions to the place and the name of the server to ask for. As we were walking up to the restaurant, the server called out our name and told us that he just received a call from our hotel notifying him that we were on our way. We got great service because of it! Breakfast was standard. The breakfast room seemed a little small and cramped, and the staff didn’t seem too happy. No major complaints about the hotel overall, but we stayed in several hotels throughout Italy during our trip, and this wasn’t our favorite. It wasn’t our worst, either, but it served its purpose.
