Fatamogana is a gelato shop in Rome, it is down one of the side streets, close to the city centre and close to the big park. It can be hard to notice, but they is a sign when you are walking down a major street in Rome(Sorry I’m not good with italian names) about the store, where it is and that they indeed, do gluten free! From what I seen, it isn’t the nicest of stores and resembles to me, a english chippy with no seating inside and with no renovations done in a while, The person who served me seemed quite nice, I guess he was the store owner or franchisee, he spoke good english and was quite nice in «trying» to recommend other gluten free places for me and letting me sample a few flavours. I ordered 2 scoops of gelato for 2.5 euros, which is not badly priced and I did find it to be quite nice, especially the cinnamon and almond flavour. I did like the chocolate orange flavour, but not as much, and also I didn’t like how it was just a hard lump, but still it wasn’t that bad at all and did taste quite nice. I would say this place is good to visit for gelato, and this place is a nice place to go if you are gluten free/coeliac in Rome. Although they is a few negatives: the design of the store, and some minor flaws with the gelato, I still feel this is a nice place and worthy of 3 stars. UPDATE: After careful consideration and trying more of the flavours, I must add this is one of the best places in Rome for gelato, with everything(including the cones) being gluten free! The gelato tastes fresh and they is some very nice, cool flavours such as blueberry cheesecake and mango and ginger(or something like that) so this place does deserve 4 star, even though I’d prefer the store to be bigger with more seating inside, rather than having the look of an old chippy(British fish and chip shop)
