May 2012, I wanted to see the Woody Allen movie in Rome. I had a pleasant walk, which made me a few minutes late to the theater. The people were very accommodating, if a little curious why I wanted to see a movie in Italian. I ducked in quietly to a seat near the door, and I found that I could follow a lot of the movie. Two bonus stars for helping this tourist! The theater itself is characteristic of arthouse/second-run movie houses. Comfortable seats; I didn’t explore the concessions – the poor people had already suffered enough at my expense!
