Castroni is a great place to buy some gourmet food. They seem to have a good selection of things from all over the world, but we were most interested in the Italy goods, to gift friends and fam.
They have a good selection of dry pastas, truffle oils, biscotti and other cookies. The best thing is that they have stores all over the city, so you are sure to find one near where you are to grab some goodies at. Chocolates, liquors, you will find something for everyone.

This store was convenient and we were able to get a few gifts for family and friends from here. Prices are a bit steep but there are a lot of unique things offered. Employees are friendly and helpful. Lots of candies, pastas, wine, chocolates, cookies, etc. There is a small café at the back of the store as well.
Definitely check it out if you’re in the area.

I have fallen in love with this store! It is the best if you’re looking for great food of any kind! From the best chocolate sellers in Italy like Amadei, Domori, and Venchi, to tens of different kinds of pastas, and there’s a café part if you want to sit. The best part was that I saw people who looked like that was just where they went to go shopping. My god this is a must see.

A must-​stop for foodies while in Rome! This cool Italian shop is worth an hour or more of browsing. Candies, oils, unique foods, spices, ingredients… it reads like a general store for gourmet lovers. A great place to take a look at regional wine and more. This is a great place to pick up some useful and unique souvenirs to bring back home. I loved this place!
