Second time for dinner in two days. It’s just good. Last time I had the lasagne and it was good. We started with mixed bruschetta. It was a great start. I had the house special. It was fettuccine with meat and tomato sauce. It did not fail. My wife had the lasagna this time and she was just as happy as me. Then we ordered a tiramisu. It was so good we got another.

Came here for dinner and had a nice meal w my 12 year old son. My son had spaghetti w meat sauce and I had one of the specials(chicken w potatoes). Both meals were good, especially our mixed bruschetta platter(though it could have used some salt). Wasn’t overly impressed with the Tiramisu, but that isn’t usually my fav dessert anyway so maybe I just don’t know what I’m talking about. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Superb, friendly, personal service. Owner’s Nicolini house red wine at € 12/bottle was peachy. The steak was tough, but the flavor was excellent… definitely recommended. Surprisingly, the chicory greens were very good. The secundi come with salads. The sea bass was just OK… flavor fine, but a little mushy. Desserts are excellent. A lovely evening!

Stopped here after we got to Rome. Looked on Unilocal and decided to give them a try. Nicollini is the waiter and owner and been there 34 years. He is fabulous! My wife and I each had one of their specials, I had the cannelloni al ragu and she had the veal Marsala. Both were very good and our son enjoyed the fried beef cutlet. Their house wine was very good! We are thinking of coming back before we leave Rome. You should check this place out… Great food and a family restaurant with excellent service! Come by early though, the tables fill up fast! Forgot to mention, very affordable!

Great home-cooked food. This family-operated eatery is low key but has topnotch Roman dishes. I had ragu here for lunch the other day and last night, although their kitchen was closed when I walked by, they still accommodated me and offered me a tasty lasagna. My last night in Roma was capped with an exquisitely prepared Melanzane di Parmigiana and Ravioli della Chef.

We decided to spend our last night in Rome in this restaurant as it was close to our hotel, and it was great, in most other restaurants we tried they didn’t really care about the customer or they were rude, but here it was a complete different atmosphere and the food was great. Looks like they receive a lot of tourist not only for other people that was around that night but because they explain things well in English.

Without question, the best experience during our visit in Rome! The atmosphere, food, and wine were all equally outstanding(Ask for Mossimo’s [the owner] family bottled wine, labeled Nicolini — sold by the bottle and affordable) Mossimo made our visit personal! It was an evening of laughter, good food, new friends, and good wine and music! The four of us agreed that this is the place that made our trip feel like Italy! Thank you Mossimo! We promise to see you again. Aug 2015

Here on vacation from California. Have been in Rome for 3 days. By far, this is the cleanest and best pasta yet! The service is great, and the pasta is home made on the spot. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
