We stayed here many nights. PROS: — 5 minute walk from Dante station — Breakfast had good variety — fresh fruit, bread, pastries, cereals, yogurt, ham, cheese, jams, juice, coffee, water — Free Wifi — Bed linens were clean — Bed was comfortable enough CONS: — Felt a bit unsafe to walk around after 9pm — Get there too late for breakfast and they run out of fruit — Wifi was down over 24 hours during our stay — Had to be buzzed from 2 gates from the outside — Room smelled funny. Airing it out didn’t work. Bathroom smelled especially funky always — Horrible showers. Shower did not drain at all. I literally turned on the water for 20 seconds, get myself wet, turn off, lather, turn on to rinse. At most 20 second increments and the water still managed to rise 2 inches. — Continuing on with the horrible showers. They had this(what appears to be nonslip) raised platform in the shower. BUTITISSLIPPERY. This plastic scaffolding just sits on top of the shower floor and moves around ALOT. BECAREFULGETTINGINANDOUTOFTHESHOWER. I ADVISEYOUHOLDONTOTHEWALLASYOUENTERANDEXITTHESHOWER. This is a really bad accident waiting to happen.

Booked a one night stay for September all the way back in April on the«pay now» option through the hotel website. Received a confirmation email as per usual. My husband and I were at the end of our three and a half week European trip. We received another email CONFIRMING our stay four days prior to check-in. When we arrived at the hotel, the girl behind the desk said that our reservation had been cancelled two days previously. We did not receive any emails or phone calls about this. She told us they tried to charge our credit card(two days prior) and that it did not go through. This was because, we finally figured out(since she had no idea why), since the time of reservation, our old card expired and we got a new one. This would not have been a problem if they had actually charged us at the time of reservation, hence PAYNOW. Also, if they had emailed or phoned us to let us know there was a problem with the card, we obviously would have given them our new card number, no problem. She kept saying that she didn’t know how this could have happened, but also saying that it was all done automatically, aka no human touched or saw this reservation, and that it «wasn’t her fault». At first she wasn’t majorly concerned, but my husband and I were firm about the situation, and she quickly turned very dramatic, begging and pleading and literally clasping her hands, asking us to stay at their sister property, the Hotel Rex. We called another B&B we had stayed at in Naples and unfortunately they were full, so ended up going to the Rex. We were going to pay 79EUR at Correra. I got her down to 65EUR for the Rex for a room that is normally 110EUR. Would’ve liked to not pay at all, though… They had a driver take us over there for free as well. The Rex is nowhere near the Correra, which we chose because of it’s great location in the historic centre. All of our plans for our one night in Naples had to be completely changed because of this mess. After we had this problem, I looked at some of the others reviews for this place and it looks like some other people have had their reservations cancelled in a similar fashion as well. They also all seemed to be one night stays. Perhaps if we were booked for longer they would have tried to contact us to keep us in their property.
