Royal San Marco & Suites

For the price, I’m not certain this place could get better! Let’s face it… Venice is like $$$$$$$.
This place is a stone’s throw from the piazza, and it’s a lovely night’s stay! Bed is firm, but I like it. Hotel is quite dated, but everything is comfortable and fine.
Carpet and tile are all dated and tired, but it’s got its own worn charm. There’s a lift for floors 1 – 4 (Europe starts on floor 0), but if you are on 5 or 6 there are some stairs. (If you are handicapped, just FYI to make a special request.)
The wifi is strong with this one.
Breakfast here is absolutely legit. And included!
Strongly recommended for the bang for buck.

Fantastic accommodations. Spacious rooms with all the comforts of home. Attentive staff. Pricey but well worth it!
