We only stopped in after eating lunch at Cuzzins to get a snack after walking around. We got Jamaican patties and LOVED THEM! We plan to stop by again before we leave. Place seems local and authentic. We will come back to try the rest of their food.

We came to Trenchtown Rock on the recommendation of our cab driver. We were a bit hesitant, but, decided to try it out rather than roam around aimlessly.
The restaurant was clean and the clientele was a mix of us tourists and locals alike. That’s a good sign to me. I started with a refreshing tamarind juice and ordered the brown sauce chicken with rice and mac n’ cheese. The chicken was very flavorful and very filling. The mac and cheese was surprisingly good but the rice was okay. It all worked great together, though.
Service was fine, we had a large group of about 15 and although it took a while to get our orders in, the food came out quickly. It was a great call to have lunch here.

From the moment you walk into the restaurant you are treated like family. The food is spectacular and the portions are perfect. Get a few appetizers and a few of the main dishes because you want to taste and share everything on the menu. The trench town rum punch is the drink of choice and will make you feel extremely passionate. Lynette was our server and gave us all the recommendations and took us under her wing we didn’t really know what to order but she took care of us extremely well! Can’t wait to come back to the island and bring more of our friends for this top notch establishment…

It was ok but the jerk pork did not have the authentic Jamaican barbecue taste. It was cooked in an oven. Very overpriced and the locals had a different menu with cheaper pricing. It was a typical tourist trap. Ouch!

Very bad service and they charge tips for twice! Watch out! The woman who serves us is very lazy and didn’t talk to us at all. Won’t come to this restaurant any more!

Yeah! The jerk chicken here was fantastic! Super friendly service as well. I will come back every time I’m on the island. Right in downtown and slightly off the main jewelry street. Do it!

OMG we love their food here!!! Everything is just delicious and fulfilling! If u are here get their Steamed Snapfish (it sounds plain but it has the most flavor!) We also ordered the Steamed Salmon and their Stewed Oxtail — they are just as scrumptious! We had jerk chicken and other platters that were very delicious also but their fish platters are so bomb!
It was so good we did a special order to go before we head out to the airport! The staff are so wonderful! Definitely a must try!
We also tried Glady’s but were very disappointed at the freshness of the fish quality and every dish was made with the same stewed sauce even though it said steamed.

This place is well worth it! 2 main streets run parallel to the water. This place to eat is one street BEHIND these 2 streets. It’s absolutely delicious and the staff is phenomenal. Wifi is free. Had the Jamaican Jerk Chicken and it was awesome! Spicy, little heat on the lips, and cooked perfectly. Highly recommend checking this place out! (If you get lost, just ask a local, you do not want to miss it!)

I love Trenchtown Rock! I am on vacation in St. Thomas and the locals and hotel staff recommended that I stop here for authentic Caribbean food. I am so glad I followed their advice because Trenchtown did not disappoint. The BBQ tofu platter was amazing! I also really enjoyed the steamed cabbage. If you’re visiting St. Thomas, Trenchtown Rock is a must!

My aunt kept raving about this restaurant, and today we had the opportunity to sit and have lunch. Our waiter was a very pleasant young man by the name of Damion. Nothing but great reviews for the food and the customer service! I had the jerk pork and chicken combo with rice, potato salad, and vegetables. The jerk was just right in spice and the meat was juicy. And lest not forget the warm greeting as we entered the establishment. I will be making another trip soon!

On a cruise, brought here by family that works on the ship. Lynette took amazing care of us. Everything we had was out of this world! Jerk Chicken, Curry Goat, Escoveish Fish… Highly recommend! Easy cab ride from the port… I will return! This is a must do in St. Thomas!

Most amazing carribean food I’ve ever had. We had Lynette as a waitress and seriously such amazing service. I recommend their jerk chicken and ginger beer which is made fresh and real ginger!!! We also had their plantains, jerk wings, rice and beans, mac and cheese, and white sweet potatoes! Everything came out on time and was made to perfection in such a short time. Next time I come to st. Thomas I definitely will be back!!!

Very clean spot and well decorated. We were greeted immediately and seated right away. Lynn is the owner and she and her staff were fast and took great care of us. I can’t wait until my next visit… oh yeah, the food was delicious.
