The food and the ambience are really good. We had the bowls and burrito. Family loved it. The price is awesome too. The only thing is that it is hard to find and to park and they are only open until 5:00pm. Will definitely be back.

Great food and service, the pork enchiladas were really good along with the cucumber margarita. A fun place to stop in St Thomas.

Fantastic food — great salsa verde and the tacos were pretty damn good. Parking is a bit of a pain, but well worth it. I wish they were open for dinner.

Recently took a cruise the Caribbean that stopped in Nassau, St. Thomas, and St. Marteen. I can easily say this was the best food and drink on our trip. Greengos is housed in a historical building that provides an authentic experience while serving up some of the best house made tequila I’ve had in sometime. The food is spectacular — I sampled from 4 or 5 different dishes and each was incredible. If you only get one meal in St. Thomas, I recommend it be Greengos.

Hard to find this place as it’s in the small corridor of the marketplace. Small venue but the food is really good. Huge portions. for such a great deal… I love how fresh everything is and the veggie options are great! The cocktails are really good. The cucumber Margarita was refreshing. Highly recommend this place!

Find this place! Wife and I stopped in while walking around and had a great time! Beers and Nachos. The food was over the top good and I am telling you it was the best prices food on the island. Bartender is a great guy even though he is a Branco fan!!! A must stop while in St Thomas!

I arrive at about 10:50 am and ask one of the waitresses what time do they open. She’s says 11, so I sit down on the patio. I walk up again and the waitress looks at me then proceeds to take some utensils she’d folded to the back then comes and asks me, «Can I help you?» She had an attitude as if it wasn’t after 11… On to the food. I ordered the chicken burrito, which is made with canned shredded chicken. Yuck! At least slice up a chicken breast if you’re going to charge $ 12 for a chicken burrito. Don’t expect flavor in the burrito either. I had to pour the salsa on each bite to eat some of it. I also ordered a peach daiquiri that tasted like frozen peach flavored water($ 7) and a bottled water($ 2.50), which is the cheapest brand offered on the island. And don’t forget the automatic 20% gratuity for just me that I wasn’t informed of! Maybe if I were drunk I would have enjoyed it to soak up the alcohol. I thought it was impossible to mess up Mexican food… something as simple as a burrito, but they proved me wrong.

We stopped by Greengos for lunch today while we were in town. The ambience was very unique and it seems like the building it is located in is original or historical. You can either sit outside on the porch, or inside the restaurant which is all open air seating. There are fans inside so even if it is hot you should still be comfortable. I ordered a Mango Margarita for my drink. It was tasty but after I ordered I noticed their bar shelves were packed with bottles of tequila. They must of had about 100 different types. I wish I would have noticed this before ordering a frozen drink because I LOVE tequila on the rocks with lime. Oh well! My boyfriend ordered a local IPA. It was okay. It tasted like an IPA and a stout got together and had a baby. We ordered chips, salsa and guac for an app. The salsa was fresh and tasty. For lunch I had the Chicken Tacos. They were good, but we are HUGE taco fans and I’ve had better. My boyfriend had the Beef Burrito and he said it was«really good». In regards to pricing, expect to pay prices similar to big cities in the states. For 3 tacos it was $ 12, and the burrito was $ 12 also. Our server was very to the point. She was nice but not very chatty. She basically got the job done. I liked her. We had everything we needed and didn’t need to small chat or be friendly. Lol. It was all about the food.

Stopped here for lunch today before the rush from the cruise ships. We had a couple of bushwackers and shared nachos. Best nachos I’ve ever had, I’m a nacho lover and I think I’m some sort of nacho aficionado. :-) We will definitely be back before our vacation ends. The $ 14 round trip ferry ride from our resort is worth it for the food.

Excellent little Mexican café in Charlotte Amalie! Food is fresh. The shredded pork burrito and bowl is awesome. And, they make their own tequila! We came here on recommendations from locals. Good call!!!

Solid Mexican lunch found at the center of Charlotte Amalie! After a great day on the beach, my friends and I were starved and looking for a really good lunch. Thankfully, we found this gem that was not far off from the main street. We used the check in to get a tequila shot and ordered Fish Tacos, Tofu Quesadillas, a Burrito, and the Cantina Bowl. We all killed our food. The tacos were my favorite but just a heads up guac and sour cream do cost extra($ 2, $.50) respectively. But overall the food was great, siting outside and people watching was great, and drinks are great too! Definitely would recommend because I think the food choices are pretty limited in the area.

Located in the center of town this is probably a very popular spot with people stopping off in St. Thomas on their cruise. Inside reminds me of a Señor Frogs, but it’s pretty clean and a nice breeze flows in through the huge windows. We were seated pretty quickly and overall service was pretty good. The waiter dropped a menu on our table, but it was more funny than anything else. Prices are typical of St. Thomas, don’t come here with a family of 5 expecting to pay less than $ 100. The food was sub-par in my opinion, I had the lobster which was overcooked and lacked flavor. I still give it three stars though because the environment is welcoming. I could see myself having a good time here with a big group. The beer selection is fairly good as well, one of the few places I saw that had Hoegaarden.

This place had high reviews and after striking out at Glady’s(they were sold out of their signature dish) we stopped in to get some grub here. We had told our server that we were in a rush and needed our food promptly. She reassured us that that wouldn’t be an issue. I ordered the fish tacos and she asked«guacamole and sour cream okay?» I said, that’s fine. Our food took forever to show up and chips and salsa here is a separate charge. Shocker. Bill comes out and I was charged individually for guac and sour cream. Total upselling that was misleading and I was not happy at all. Now I had to bring it to the manager’s attention and she stomped off and loudly announced to the restaurants that«I need „insert manager’s name“ because this table doesn’t want to pay for guacamole and sour cream!» Honey, I don’t mind paying for it if I ordered it and you didn’t try to inflate my bill. Rude server + nickel and diming = low Unilocal review.

Greengos is my favorite restaurant in St Thomas. They have tons of delicious versions of margaritas and their own take on the classic island drinks. The Salty Seniorita was nice! I got the chicken cantina bowl for just $ 12 and it was a great deal. Layers of rice, beans, cheese, guacamole and a generous portion of chicken. And then more cheese. My whole group of 6 was thrilled with their choices. I heard the fish tacos special was amazing! Also good to note… Both times we went the waitresses were delightful, speedy, and helpful narrowing down so many good options.

What an excellent find! I read the positive reviews and so we decided to try out Greengos while we were visiting St. Thomas. The atmosphere is is fun and refreshing and the food was great. Our table had the Pork Tacos and Chicken Taquitos and enjoyed them immensely. There was a check-in bonus for a free shot of some of their infused tequila. I wish were were there for drinks because it was quite tasty! The service was fast and friendly all around. We will definitely return upon our next visit to the island.

Loved this place! The food was delicious and the drinks were insanely huge for the price. I ordered the beer/margarita, thinking it would be a normal size cocktail. When the waitress brought it to my table I was shocked — the margarita glass was bigger than my head! My sister ordered a Bushwacker which was about half the size, but still a pretty hefty cocktail.

Love this restaurant! They have infused tequila and huge margaritas. I love the Cantina Bowls with their spicy homemade hot sauce. Definitely a cool atmosphere with great food and service.

I was pretty happy with my salad here. The side of guacamole is pretty small though. Their house made iced tea was good. I would recommend them for a quick casual meal if you’re in that area shopping.

As far as Mexican food goes… Definitely not the best. But it’s a great atmosphere for drinking margaritas and getting out of the Caribbean heat and humidity. I ordered the chicken burrito. It was pretty small, filled with rice, black beans, cabbage, cheese and chicken. It was VERY greasy, I didn’t finish the bottom of the burrito because it just became a grease sponge. It came with some green and yellow chips and a pretty tasty and spicy salsa. I wouldn’t really recommend the food but like I said if you’re looking for a good environment and some cold margaritas, this is your spot!
