You know how sometimes you use a place so often that you assume you must have reviewed it… this O’Briens is like this for me. Also I’m not totally sure it’s still an O’Briens as there’s some ambiguity going on with the signage. Anyway this is a sandwich bar like you’d expect with some seating in a conservatory areas. It’s the main lunch provider on the Richview campus so it’s crazy busy around 1pm during term. The food is pretty good, although I always find the suggested combinations pretty weird. They have all manner of posh ingrediants like sun-dried tomatoes and proper balls of mozzerella. Before 10am, as I’ve mentioned elsewhere, you can get free toast with any hot drink and they have loyalty cards for 10 sandwiches/drinks get one free. So that’s pretty good value. Cold drinks and other snacks tend to be over-priced but the sandwiches and hot drinks aren’t too bad. A vat of tea(large) only sets you back 1.85, which is especially good value when it comes with free toast!
