That’s the nearest shopping for me. It has underground parking and is free, which is a plus. There is a Tesco, a huge Boots store and many other stores. It’s not located in town, and access is either by bus and car.

In theory, I like malls: they’re climate controlled, which I like, and everything’s close together, which I like. Often, though, they can have an unpleasant, sort of cavernous, seedy feel. That’s the case with the Omni, unfortunately. As for the stores, there are several relatively inexpensive clothing chains: Only, New Look, Vera Moda, etc. And a Penneys. There’s a Burger King, Subway, Starbucks, crappy smoothie stand, a moderately-stocked bookstore, a Tesco, two stationary stores… It’s all pretty standard stuff. Good if you need to grab a miniskirt or a pair of stockings for that night, but I wouldn’t come to the Omni just to browse.(And I really, really like shopping.) Really big echoey halls, high industrial ceilings, linoleum, kinda grimy, lots of screeching kids… Just not an especially pleasant shopping experience. Fine if you’re going for something specific and can get in & out, but not a place for a leisurely browsing session.

A not so old shopping centre that recently got a big makeover… unfortunately not all the new units have been filled which leaves the SC quite empty! They have the big shops such as penny’s, tesco, lifestyle sports… good if you need something specific but not sure if it would be a location for a spontaneous shopping spree.

Not the best shopping centre in Ireland. Bit of a ghost town overall. Nothing to attract the customer. Sad to see it in such a bad way as it has the potential to be good! I hope things will improve for Omni over the next few years!

grand shopping centre for everything you’d expect from a centre in the burbs. The only thing this is lacking is good clothes stores in my opinion.

omg this is a horrible mall! All they have is Tesco and Penney’s… everything else legitimately sucks! Plus the Tesco closes way too early — the one in city centre closes at like 10PM or so. And they didn’t have any contact eye solution when I was there… They do have a pizza hut there. And KFC! And the movie theatre has a good student discount !

Omni Park gets three stars because it is only a mile from where I live. They have a Tesco, Penney’s, and and Argos in the area and one can really find a bargain on certain items. I bought a hair dryer and a straightener at Argos for 16 euros, and 2 bathmats for 6 euros. I’m really not that enthused about the other stores they have to offer. But there is a Scandanavian lingere store, and an eyeglass shop that sell some trendy and modern frames. It’s good if you are looking for decently priced goods and you are in the area. Nothing worth going out of the way for.
