Mcnamara’s Carburettor & Injection Ctr

Only getting one star because you have to rate it something. This ‘garage’ is a disgrace of an establishment. My mother (72) brought her car to a mechanic as it kept cutting out. The mechanic, (another piece of work) dropped it off at Mcnamara’s for a fuel injector to be fitted.
Long story short, the initial estimate was for € 500 which ended up being over € 1000. It was explained to me that the ‘new’ part plus a lot of cleaning plus labour was all itemised on the invoice. My mother didn’t pay & with my help got her car back just paying € 600 to the original mechanic who took the invoice back. Two week later the same problem with the car she took it to a main dealer. The part Mcnamara’s said they changed and billed for, was an original part. When a copy of the invoice was received from Mcnamara’s after a solicitors letter the new part had been removed and miscellaneous & cleaning has been added.
