Sure look, it’s a town nightclub, so it’s not going to be a five star place. It’s kept reasonably clean, and it’s grand. It’s quite small though, and it can often be a tenner to get in– which is more than I’ve paid for far better nightclubs in Dublin or other cities! Very limited bar here, just spirits and really a set 10 drinks that you can get, plus a few shots. The music is pretty typical for a place like this– the DJs tend to stick to their own taste instead of playing the crowd pleasing music, aside from the top 10 of course. I’ve been here more times than I care to admit but it’s really not for my age group anymore. It’s really just the 18 – 20(dare I say 17 – 19? That would be more realistic…) age group that will maybe enjoy here. On the bigger nights it’s great for a bit of a Mallow town reunion, you see faces you haven’t seen since they left for college/London/Australia or whatever and it can be great fun, but I think I’ve pretty much outgrown the place.
