The Dew Drop Inn

This place is fantastic! I always visit when I’m in town to get my favorite — Steak on a Rock. You basically get to choose your steak size and cook it yourself on a hot stone that they bring out to you. The meat is local, juicy and fresh, and comes with onion strings and mushrooms as well as this amazing peppercorn sauce. Typical sides include fries or mashed potatoes, but I usually substitute the roast vegetables instead.
For such a secluded venue, The Dew Drop offers first class food and a great wine menu. Ambiance is classic Irish pub, and the service is always lovely. Desserts are to die for and change regularly — best bread pudding I’ve ever had! I highly recommend the inn, it’s a hidden gem that continues to pleasantly surprise.
