Paris Texas Bar & Restaurant

Came in for dinner and a couple drinks. The décor is nice and cozy. The food itself was decent bar food with a lot to choose from. They offered burgers, steaks, Mexican options, salads etc. very reasonably priced as well.

Great place. Fun staff. Good food selection as well as many beers and wines. Open and airy In the summer in the front bar and another bar is in the back. Wing specials on two nights! Daily specials available.

Visited April 2015: «Great atmosphere»
There was live music, seafood, and just an all-​around good atmosphere. The bill for crab cakes, seafood nachos, 2 alcoholic beverages, and bananas foster was less than $ 35. The bartender was attentive and some lite banter with us.

on a tour of ireland and saw this place. surprised w Paris Texas as that is about an hour from home! never knew there was a movie. kilkenny beer ribs and smoked fries were good… enjoyed it!

We were last in KK 4 years ago as we live in NZ. This bar was so terrible back then we said we would never be back. However a few people told us it had been renovated so we decided to risk it again.
They have completely changed the inside and the changes are amazing. There are 3 different bar areas and a smoking area. The smaller bar is a gin bar.
We ordered a few snacks, hot chicken wings and chilli cheese fries. It was typical pub grub, nothing special. I don’t think I would recommend having a meal there.
Pop in for a drink but maybe have food somewhere else.

Just what the doctor ordered, at least for this ex-​pat. Very good burgers, excellent fries/​chips, and decent service.

I ate at this place for lunch witth my parents and we liked it! We took a big basic salad and a smoked chiken burger and a veggie quesidilla with 2 Glasses of Pino Griggio and a bottle of sparkling water. oh and a marvelous lime cheesecake with a pot of tea… the bill was 47 €. The food was fresh and tasty. The staff ia very helpful. I first ordered a quesidilla «club» chiken and avocado and I dis not realised that club means bacon in it. I don’t eat pork… so I ask the waiter to explained the presence of bacon in my meal. He took the time to verified wit the chef and ask me if I wanted another plate. First I refused by telling them that I could exchange my plate with my father’s salad … but then he insisted and I have accepted. He came back with my new plate in less than 10 minutes. Usually I do not do that because I heard horrible kitchen stories but I dont know why … I trusted that guy. Maybe I am wrong but I really enjoyed my plate and I am still alive 4 hours later!!!
I highly recommend this place and if you are a smoker, there is a place for you at the back of the place!

Paris Texas looks great outside and inside, friends had recommended, reviews elsewhere were good, prices were cheap, waiters super friendly and we were starving after having a couple of drinks. What could go wrong?
Even though the menu is essentially TGI’s, they have a fancier bar and décor and you don’t feel like you are in a burger joint. Happy days the 4 of us thought… until our food came out.
It was shockingly bad. Ok so we weren’t expecting Michelin starred dishes but we got stale garlic bread, stale burger buns, mussels swimming in grease, crab cakes with invisible crab. It was all pretty inedible… and I will usually eat anything after a few drinks. Not sure if it was a bad night or the chef had an evening off but unfortunately I won’t be back to find out.

Service good but lacked knowledge about food… in fairness they went to ask kitchen about type of beef that came with the ribs but chef did not know… food very average and disappointing… grand for large parties but not for anyone who like to taste food… will not be back… décor nice but overdone a little
