Fresh, local, foods carefully prepared in a bright airy setting. We had: Veggie mezze Beet root risotto Watermelon salad Kitchen sink and for dessert: Ginger cake Coffee cake All excellent and well-presented. They were fairly busy on a Saturday noon and we had to wait a bit, but one can browse in the museum upstairs; a bonus is a very nice view of Galway City from the second-storey window. Highly recommended.

Since I don’t live in Galway city, I spend a lot of my time there wandering around looking for somewhere to sit and do some work, grab some food and just kill the time! This is the perfect spot for all of that. They also do a great breakfast, which is the golden egg for me. I’m borderline obsessed with French Toast at this stage. It’s a good batch here too, though I might complain that I’d prefer my maple syrup on the side, whereas here its already poured over. That said, I’ve been here maybe three times now, and I haven’t asked them to change it… so it’s obviously not that bad! The place is bright and airy and right by the river, so quiet but with a nice bustle. As far as I know it gets pretty busy at brunch, though we had no problem getting a table the one Sunday we made it. The service is great, the food is delicious and there’s a lot of creativity in the décor. It’s cute without being hipster in the slightest and the crowd reflects that. Great chai latte too, probably the best I’ve had! YUM

Great place for Sunday branch. Fluffy pancakes with nuts and lemon where delicious. Probably one of the few places in Galway(if not the only one) where you can get Matcha latte with wide selection of plants milk. Definitely recommend and will go back again.

Really want to give 5 stars but the service let it down a little. The staff are inattentive and seem totally disinterested in their job. Perhaps I caught them on an off day! The food is fab great choice of healthy dishes something different can be found here. The décor is lovely with seating outside available too.

Yeah, it’s a nice place for Brunch in Galway. I like the fact everything used in the café is bought in locally, the menu is different and leans towards clean eating — you get veggie/fruit juices for 2.50 which is a great price. Why only 3 stars? I didn’t get warm with this place, there is something add about the setting, maybe it’s am the canteen feeling or the uncomfortable chairs? Not sure, maybe it was only the specific day — I will give it another shout and then see. Another point, I’d love for them to have healthy soup and homemade spelt bread!!!

Lovely bright café near the Spanish arch. The menu has many tasty options from healthy salads and wraps to cooked dishes like fish cakes and breakfast options. You can also add toppings of chicken, ham or crispy tofu for an extra 1.50 euro. The coffee is great too and you have the option of soya milk. The café itself is very airy, bright and spacious and provides outdoor seating overlooking the river Corrib, so it’s a great place to go to on a sunny day. However, the only reason I gave it 3 stars and not 5 was the service. The staff are extremely inattentive and slow, and it took ages to just get their attention. The food takes really long to come, about 20 mins for just salad. They also never seem to check on customers if everything is ok.

My first meal in Galway and it’s a winner, big time. I had the crispy curried chicken salad — roasted and fried chicken that comes with a crispy potato skin salad, pickled courgette with Moroccan harissa… enough said ;-) Oh, let me attach a picture of the best salad ever, you know… just to invoke feelings of jealous among other Unilocalers. And it only cost € 9.70… I rest my case. Service was excellent too — they did bring out a chicken wrap by mistake but rectified it very quickly with plenty of apologies. If you manage to nab a table outside, you’ll have a fine view of the Spanish Arch and the Corrib River — and then walk your meal off at the adjoining fantastic Galway museum!

A decent sized café with full service. Great place to people watch as one side of the café has a large glass window. I ordered meatloaf with potatoes and some greens. Staff is friendly and nice. There is no sign whether to grab a table or wait to be seated. Looked like you can seat yourself. It tends to get really busy at certain times of the day. Right after I got my meal, the place was filled to capacity with people waiting in the doorway for a table.

Cute, airy café located in the same building as the Galway City Museum. They also share restrooms with the museum — even when the museum is closed. I had a cappuccino and a ginger soda — I needed some coffee but I’d never seen that variety of ginger ale/ginger beer before! Very nice place to take a break, good cheerful service, and the food looked great… I just wished I was hungry!
