After a disappointing visit the previous week to Unilocal No 1 eating house in Galway, I was reluctant to see what else it was bigging up for me to try. However I spotted Pascals and a Unilocal Elite member had written a glowing review and his is an opinion I trust. And I’m glad I did because Pascals is a great find. I sat down and perused their menu, two menus actually. They had a nifty infographic style coffee menu too. I liked it a lot. I ordered a bacon and cheese toasted croissant with some relish on the side. It was perfect, as I wasn’t looking for a big plate of food. The coffee was nice too, an americano with a lovely crème on top. The staff where very friendly and nice. The décor grand. The facilities were very clean too. The WiFi was a cool bonus, as the mobile reception complete dropped off when inside here. Definitely recommended. I was kinda sorry I didn’t have a bigger appetite, as the pancakes looked fricken amazing. I will be back.

Pancakes. With bacon. ‘nuf said! Really, that’s all you need to know. But Unilocal won’t let me be so brief, so I’ll add that the coffee is good too, and the staff is friendly. It’s tucked away in a corner so a bit hard to find but worth it. Oh, and they have a little play kitchen for kids, very cute.
