Rathbeggan Lakes

i went here today with a big group of people and the kids had a great time with boating on the lake, trout fishing and a big selection of bouncy castles. they also have a pet farm with rabbits, hens, goats and a couple of donkeys and a bungee rope and climbing frame.
the bbq area was great for the big gang of us that there were and the best thing is to bring your own food.
if i could critise anything its that each area has an individual price as in € 5 into the bouncy castles, € 4 each for the climbing wall, bungy jump, peddle boats and rent of the bbq is € 10 so the price of a visit with say 2 adults and 2 kids could quickly add up!
but great if you want to go somewhere not too far out of dublin and have a few hours to spend on sitting back and relaxing or being energetic on the equipment!
oh and they have adults evenings where you pay € 10 and get to go on stuff and get a glass of wine on the boats although i wouldnt want to be tipsy on a boat.
