A little gem of a place — lovely way to spend your lunch break — great to see such creative talent in this wonderful city of ours!

Went here for a show the other day at lunchtime. It’s a cute small space, and great for watching shows in a more intimate fashion. As it was lunchtime, we also had soup and brown bread included in our ticket price. Bargain!

This is what Dublin in 2014 is all about. Giving over a small space to creative endeavours that support the arts in Ireland, and inspire and entertain those who get to experience it, thereby thoroughly enriching the lives of our city’s inhabitants.
Theatre Upstairs is a totally independent theatre which is dedicated to the support of rising talent. I like this concept. Sometimes ambitions like this can come with a caveat of lack of quality, however this is certainly not the case with these guys.
Great place, great value, definitely worth checking out their programme of events.
