GIVEMEALLTHEPIZZA! The pizza here is so good! SOGOOD! Gotham is a casual pizza place to go to when you want to grab lunch with friends or a quick bite to eat in the evening. It provides good service and delicious pizza. I brought my Ozzy and American friends here and they were very impressed with the pizza. The vegetarian, Aromatic duck, so-Ho and No-Ho pizzas are all delicious… But I’m sure the rest of them are as well. As I’m addicted to Chilli, I would suggest you ask for the chilli flakes when your pizza arrives to sprinkle over. 17 € 2 course early bird Is good value, though to be fair a pizza really is enough but you should always treat yo’self when eating out. I have to say it’s one of the best pizza places to go to in Dublin. Their sister restaurant Independent Pizza is what brought me here(located beside Drumcondra train station) it’s been going since the early 80’s so they’re been doing this pizza thing a long time. One guy in particular is a really good waiter, he has glasses and sallow skin. The other staff I’ve encountered are also pleasant. They’re all pretty laid back and chill.

I have walked past here numerous times but only paid it a visit very recently for a quick lunch. Great menu with lots of choices! You can spend anything from € 10 up for a good meal. I got the mushroom mozzarella and pesto panini and I asked for prosciutto on top as I wouldn’t make the world’s best vegetarian The food came and looked and tasted great. Big portion sizes which are always a plus for a hungry student! The staff were really friendly and helpful and I would have no problem recommending this place as a venue!

I used to come here all time time when I was younger. So I very fond memories of this place. I went back for a Sunday lunch with the girls and it didn’t disappoint. It had been years since I ate here and the food was just as I remembered. Scrumptious. Well the pizzas anyway. My friend got the Thai green curry it was below average but cmon! You should have ordered the pizza!!! Starters were just OK. We had garlic prawns and pita with dip.

Was there with a group of 10 and we got a really nice spot at the back. They do an early bird for 2 courses for 17 euros. Had the Italian antipasti platter followed by a woodfired regular pizza. The pizza was small-ish but it was well enough with the starter. Besides it was really good and would leave room for dessert. Possible to order large pizzas too but not in the early bird. The staff was very nice. The only ready I’m not giving 5 it’s because we had to wait but the place was very busy on a Thursday evening. Can be a little expensive but the early bird is great.

A very good choice for brunch in the Grafton St. area. Their burgers(and other sandwiches) are also good choices. Their desserts are also worth a try. The decoration of the place is also quite interesting(and it is cozy — but not necessarily«cozy»)

I really wanted to like this place, and I really liked the food. The lamb burger with those purple onions was brilliant. So then why am I giving it 2 stars? Well, the chips(aka fries in America) were not the best. They seemed off. But that’s surely not enough to knock them a whole 3 stars. The other reason lies in the fact that I had to wait nearly 30 or 40 minutes for food when I was told 15. Fine fine, the kitchen is busy — sure. I should give them another chance. Well, if the kitchen is so packed, how did the two parties which came after me(one a couple of minutes, the other about 15 minutes) have their food and checks before I even got mine? Also, where was my ketchup? I asked for ketchup — after you asked me if I wanted any(which I did!). If you go, and that’s a big if now — try that lamb burger. Avoid the service. Just go prepare it yourself.

I would really like to give this place 3 ½ stars. The staff is very friendly, the service is very good. And the food was quite tasty. I ordered a salad and garlic bread, and a glass of lemonade. My bill was 18 €. This place is definitely on the pricey side, but of course it’s just off Grafton Street. You definitely can find similar quality for less €. Really liked the Rolling stone cover décor.

What can I saw about Gotham, it is great food, good staff and always busy. You get good sized portions and good value food. I had the Lamb burger, which was pretty good I must say! :) if you are in the area and hungry, its a great place to drop in! :D

This place can compete with most great pizza places in the U.S. The Spanish Harlem was awesome! The beer selection could have more options. Good service.

I’m currently moving house and eating the stodgy contents of my freezer so it was a welcome change to finally get out for a proper meal. I came around half four so I was still able to get the lunch menu– it’s more or less all things from the regular menu but two courses are 16 euro. I had the calamari and the Gotham burger. The calamari were lovely, the batter crispy but not too thick, and a perfectly sized portion. The burger was also quite good, I really liked the sauce that was layered on both sides of the burger, which was on a soft-bap roll. I’m a bit lost in Ireland when it comes to burgers because health and safety won’t allow me to get them as juicy(bloooood) as I’d like. So I’m never totally happy but this was pretty tasty! It also came with a side of nicely cooked chips with the skins still on. For a lunch this was extremely filling, and I suppose a little pricey but worth it, since it’s a full meal. The service was great, everyone I dealt with was very pleasant and the food was very quick. I must have come at a scheduling break because everyone who initially seated me/took my order ended up leaving and I was given a new waiter. I’m sure the others were happier to get off work than they were sad to miss out on my tip but I did feel bad not being able to give it to my actual servers! Oh well, maybe next time. A solid bet for a city-centre bite!

Have eaten here a few times and it does a perfectly adequate job for lunch time. The place is nice & bright and they have some nice seats outside if it’s *shock* sunny out. This place usually gets really busy around lunchtime so coming early is advised. They do a fine selection of pizzas, burgers etc., the last time I was there I had the prawn salad. It was a fine sized portion but they just went too cray cray on the oil for my liking. Half the salad was soggy because of it, I didn’t mind a whole lot because it still tasted fine but it was just a weird texture. Apart from that, the staff were friendly and courteous & the prices are slightly above average but still fairly reasonable. In short: A fine lunchtime spot if you’re stuck for ideas & want some reliable & healthy choices, just don’t expect to be blown away by it.

I went for a dinner with one of my friends. We didnot have a booking but were asked to wait for few minutes and they found us a table available for an hour which was good. any way the service was good and the place was decent. The food on the other hand was good. My friend had a burger and she seemed to enjoy it at the time and I had a shrimp salad but i was very oily for me. overall, good but i wouldn’t go again.

Went to Gotham Café recently straight after work as I fancied some pizza. There are several tasty options, but I went with Brooklyn Bridge which had Thai style chicken with sweet chilli sauce, spinach, roasted sweet peppers, red onion and coriander and mozzarella which I recommend highly. I also sampled a Brooklyn Craft Beer which was tasty and went for Chocolate Brownie for dessert which was so so. Staff as always are very helpful. Overall I enjoyed the visit and will probably go back sooner this time

The food was brilliant! Went here for brunch on Sunday, we got the Mexican eggs and poached eggs and bacon. The only bad things were that the eggs in the Mexican eggs weren’t runny which I like but that’s not too big a deal. :) I also asked for extra bacon with the Mexican eggs and it was no problem! The service was brilliant at the start however they were slow to clear our plates when we finished.

Was the theme, American? Pizzan? I couldnt tell. Maybe cuz Im American? or Pizzan? I had a bacon(not american) and egg on a slice of bread thing. I was here the Monday after Christmas and there was this one really rude dude. A bit older than the other waiters and just really weird and bossy with customers. Also, why are all the bathrooms, sorry toilets, in dublin never on the same floor in which you are eating. Hashtag weird.

An old haunt is Gotham Café for me and my best friend. We found ourselves here after doing some wedding related stuff and decided it was the best place to reward our endeavours. The walls are more or less the same with vast array of framed Rolling Stones magazine covers. As is the menu too, more or less the same, of which I ordered the Louisiana Fish cakes. These are still awesome, but I am sure they have gotten smaller in size. They have craft beer and cider now too — yay! So I ordered a few pale ales to wash down my meal. The staff were fine, on the ball but not too in your face. One guy working the floor has been there for as long as I can remember. He’s very pleasant, it was nice to see a familiar face there. A solid restaurant in town that still serves up nice food.
Not bad, not amazing. Just above average. Came here with the family recently for some food. Read good things online and it was in a suitable area. We all ordered some drinks, a starter, main and a dessert. The starter came out and was pretty great I must admit. If you do go here, get the garlic butter prawns. Rich in texture and flavour, a decent size portion and presented very well. I think this may have gotten my hopes up somewhat for the main. Now okay, I did order pizza, probably not the best thing to judge the place by but still felt like they could have done a little bit better. The pizza was plain, lacking a certain something that I can’t exactly put my finger on. The expectation of a restaurant pizza for me is that it would have a different taste to one ordered from the local delivery place, maybe a different tasting dough, a special sauce or even just a selection of unusual toppings. This claimed to have the odd toppings and a funky name to go with it but for some reason I felt like I had just gotten my regular Dominos or Mizzoni’s. The fontina cheese and baby potatoes were almost non existent. One of the other meal ordered was fish, with a mixture of seafood and sauce. The waiters and chefs did very well to accommodate in making the fish without the sauce as requested and it still turned out rather nice from what I hear. Our dessert was brought out shortly after we had selected it from the menu but we were left waiting for coffee and tea, a good ten minutes, it got to the point where we had to call a waiter. When the coffee did finally arrive, the Gotham Cheesecake went down along with it. Such a filling flavour, a unique taste and a decent size slice. One other small thing was the music that was playing in the background during our meal there. An odd selection that did not personally bother me but did the people I was with, and apparently the people sitting across from us too as they politely asked the staff to change it. Overall I feel three stars is fair, I will return to order something entirely different with the intention and hope of having to review my review.

Gotham is something different! Have been in there yesterday since a year or so, used to go here of lunch quite a lot when I was working in the area too. They have great deals and choices for all kind of types — if you prefer healthy or munchie. The style of the café/restaurant is amazing, Rolling Stone magazine covers. American Diner style but chic. Food is more Mediterranean I’d say, the pizza is really nice, crispy, fresh and good amount on topics on it. the salads are worth the money too and also antipasti platter — yum yum yum. Wouldn’t go for starter and main without doing the lunch deal, as the starters are only ok-ish, they could have some less random choices.
