Really on a low budget, but your other shoes have a hole in them? Then shoe zone is your place … otherwise there’s not much on offer here. This is the kind of store that says that it’s always having a going out of business sale, but never actually goes out of business. The shoes are nothing to write home about, but the main draw is that they’re cheap. So like I said if you’re in a bind and your next paycheck doesn’t come through for another week then this is your place.

Need a new pair of shoes in a hurry, not too fussy about what they look like, and only have a tenner to spend? No worries, Shoe Zone will sort you out. The shoes on offer in here are mostly plastic, mostly plain, and all under € 20. They will hurt your feet though, and make them pretty pongy, that is guaranteed. They attempt to cover all the latest trends, so you will find impressions of Ugg boots and ballerina pumps, amongst the staple court shoes for the office, and kids school shoes. They came up trumps when I needed a plain pair of black shoes for a once-off waitressing gig once upon a time(and obviously couldn’t spend a fortune), but my feet were killing me halfway through the shift.

Well, it is very cheap and it does an amazing range of fur lined boots that to my untrained eye look a lot like Uggs. Other than that, it’s really faux leather — okay, let’s call a spade a spade, plastic — work shoes and high heels that are rather uninspiring.
